Making real community change.

We are creating a replicable and sustainable teacher housing model on privately owned land without government funds using a social entrepreneurship model and green high quality low-cost technology.

This is a Pilot Program. Once the model is proven it can replicated for anyone who has a job, pays taxes, wants to own a home, and live where they work, including Social Workers, Caregivers, Nurses, and City/County Employees.

Help Our Teachers Afford To Live Here

  • Help schools recruit and retain teachers so that Santa Clara County can have the best schools in the country.
  • Create a sense of Community by providing housing to retired teachers.
  • Help the Missing Middle become home owners by using a limited lease period with down payment savings program model.

Sianya Espinoza ESUHSD/McKinley San Jose My mother is a teacher in the McKinley school district and for years housing has always been a struggle. A teacher salary is not enough to sustain a home in a place that considers a six figure salary "low income"

Debra Martin Campbell San Jose I'm a TA/mom with a private school, thank you for addressing this cause!
William Turner Union San Jose
Steve Stavis Santa Clara Unified Los Gatos Aside from parental support, the single greatest factor contributing to school success is the quality of the classroom teacher. We need to do everything possible to attract and retain the best teachers we can. This initiative will support that effort.
Susan Leone SJUSD San Jose We need to make it easier for teachers to live in the areas that they work. I know too many teachers that live far beyond the boundaries of their school district and have a very long commute.
Sarah Bayerle Campbell/Union San Jose Many of our teachers travel all the way from Scotts Valley to teach in our district. They should be able to afford to live in the community in which they teach.
Joyce Billings St Lucy Parish School/Diocese of San Jose Campbell It is a known fact that teachers do not teach for the money, but the love of children. We need to find ways to support these teachers who make a difference everyday in the lives of the children they teach.
