Making real community change.

We are creating a replicable and sustainable teacher housing model on privately owned land without government funds using a social entrepreneurship model and green high quality low-cost technology.

This is a Pilot Program. Once the model is proven it can replicated for anyone who has a job, pays taxes, wants to own a home, and live where they work, including Social Workers, Caregivers, Nurses, and City/County Employees.

Help Our Teachers Afford To Live Here

  • Help schools recruit and retain teachers so that Santa Clara County can have the best schools in the country.
  • Create a sense of Community by providing housing to retired teachers.
  • Help the Missing Middle become home owners by using a limited lease period with down payment savings program model.

Susan Leone SJUSD San Jose We need to make it easier for teachers to live in the areas that they work. I know too many teachers that live far beyond the boundaries of their school district and have a very long commute.
Sarah Bayerle Campbell/Union San Jose Many of our teachers travel all the way from Scotts Valley to teach in our district. They should be able to afford to live in the community in which they teach.
Joyce Billings St Lucy Parish School/Diocese of San Jose Campbell It is a known fact that teachers do not teach for the money, but the love of children. We need to find ways to support these teachers who make a difference everyday in the lives of the children they teach.

Zoila Esquivel Moreno San Jose Unified School District San Jose This is greatly needed in order to retain teachers in the area. While my husband and I have great paying jobs, we cannot seem to be able to afford a house in the area because of the downpayment required! Thank you for this initiative!
Liz Crites St. Leo's/St. Lucy/St. Mary's LG/Daves Ave/Los Gatos High/St. Francis High School Los Gatos I'm a retired Catholic School teacher with 2 adult children who are teachers.
